How many days are the drivers out before returning home?
About 7 to 10 days.
What lanes or area of the country do you run?
Our largest lane is from Texas to the southeast states ie Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia. But we do have loads that have us traveling thru all 48 states.
What type of equipment would I be driving?
386 model Peterbilts with 70 in sleepers, equipped with refrigerators, and Tripac units. The refrigerated trailers that Evenson Trucking has been buying are Great Danes with Thermo King Units. Air ride and 53’.
How are your drivers paid?
Our company drivers are paid on a per miles basis. We also have two quarterly bonuses that we pay. The first one is a Fuel Bonus and the second bonus is a Performance/ Profit Sharing Bonus.
How often do you pay?
We pay every week on Fridays. If you have your paperwork turned in by 8:00am Thursday morning, you will get paid the next day on Friday.
Do you run the PSP
(pre-employment screening program) on your drivers before hiring them? Yes we do. This is a tool that gives us, the employer, a snap shot of a drivers history before hiring them. It includes 5 years of crash history and 3 years of inspections.
